In addition, 67% of banks are planning to grant fewer loans than before. This is according to the \"EY Credit Market Study\" by the auditing firm Ernst &amp; Young GmbH.<\/p>\n<p>Entrepreneurs and private individuals must also expect to be denied credit more often. This is because 76% of the credit managers surveyed announced increased checks within the next twelve months and 43% of the credit managers surveyed expect more loan applications to be rejected.<\/p>\n<p>New customers must also be prepared for rising ancillary credit costs such as interest and processing fees - 64% of the credit managers surveyed stated that this will be the case with their banks. A total of 120 credit managers from banks and savings banks were surveyed for the EY credit market study.
