For example, houses with the highest energy efficiency class A+ are on average 25 percent more expensive than those with the lowest energy efficiency class H. This trend is also reflected in apartments: properties with an A+ class achieve a premium of almost 11 percent compared to those with an energy efficiency class D. This is shown in a recent study by the real estate portal \"Immowelt\".<\/p>\n<p>The analysis also shows that properties with a poor energy balance have to contend with price reductions. For houses, the lowest energy efficiency class H leads to an average price reduction of 13.6 percent compared to properties with an average energy standard.
