Researchers at the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft have developed innovative processes in the field of building refurbishment. The aim is to increase the renovation rate in order to significantly reduce CO2 emissions in the construction sector. Currently, the renovation rate is around one percent per year. The \"BAU-DNS\" project aims to accelerate renovation processes by 10 to 15 percent.
