Former architecture student Moritz Hahn from the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (FHWS) has been awarded the BDA Study Prize Bavaria 2022 for his bachelor's thesis on "Ideal: On the ethical criticism of architecture", awarded by the Association of German Architects.
In his bachelor's thesis, Moritz Hahn explores the following questions, among others: "Is there a need for moral considerations in everyday architectural practice? Do female architects have an ethical obligation? Who is right? What do we need to literally carve in stone? Do we need ideals?"
Interested parties can obtain an initial excerpt of the Bachelor's thesis on the FHWS website. If you would like to read the complete bachelor's thesis, you can purchase it as a paperback for 17 euros at moritzruben.de/content/ideal.
