In the "Climate-friendly mobility" category, the city of Darmstadt was recognized for the implementation of its sustainable and climate-friendly mobility concept in the Lincoln housing estate. The district of Pinneberg received the prize money for its digital electric vehicle fleet and the city of Bielefeld for the "3 months without a car" project, in which Bielefeld residents were able to test being mobile without a car with municipal support.
The municipality of Nohfelden, the city of Münster and the city of Amberg were also awarded prizes in the "Climate-friendly administration" category. The municipalities and cities are committed to minimizing CO2 emissions in their administrations, for example.
